Master instructions for vinyl pressing

Master to 12 "Vinyl orders: A 12" vinyl consists of an A and a B page, please submit separate material for each side (Max 22-23 min / page). The best fileformat for vinyl masters is 48 kHz and 24-bit WAV. The best way to do these files are to complete a WAV-file for each seperate page (A and B) on the vinyl, with the pauses between the songs mixed in the wav-file, then You will get exact as long pauses as you want. You can also send us loose wav files, in two differnt zipped folders, one for side A and one for side B. It is also possible to submit 2xImage File (side A & B) in the formats (.BIN, .IMG, .ISO) Or send us physical AudioCD master (2x Audio CD, one for each page).

Printing

For all CD, DVD and Vinyl productions, a good original is needed in order to produce a good printed result.
Start by downloading the printing template for your respective product. You can find the templates under the description of the product you have chosen. The templates are in pdf format. Use them to make CD, DVD or Vinyl printing production as good as possible.

We accept most file formats, but prefer Illustrator EPS, Photoshop or PDF. All typefaces must be redesigned to paths/curves/outlines. Here is a crash course if you don’t know how to do this: Illustrator – Select the text object and press Ctrl+Shift+O (PC), Alt+Shift+O (MAC) InDesign – Select the text object and press Ctrl+Shift+O (PC), Alt+Shift+O (MAC) If the text is not in paths, you will be charged for the necessary manual alterations. Pictures and links will be embedded in the documents.

We also accept print material in the form of images, such as tif files and the like, for production. They must have high resolution, at least 300dpi. Pictures should also be in CMYK. Use the coated FOGRA39-profile which are available to select in Photoshop.

Be prepared for increases in the original cost if you send in materials other than those described above for CD, DVD or Vinyl production.

MS Word, Power Point and Publisher (to name the most common) are not suitable for the creation of original files. These programs have poor colour management and there is a significant difference between what is shown on the screen and what comes out of the printer.

If you need help with layout or print material, you will be charged at a rate of 900 SEK per hour.
